Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TecFix website, online chat, email, social-media messaging, and related online services. By using these services, you agree to these terms. Terms provided on an estimate, work order, invoice, or service agreement may also apply to a particular repair or data-recovery service and will control if they conflict with these general website terms.

Information and estimates

Website content and preliminary prices are provided for general information. A final price, timeframe, diagnosis, parts requirement, or likelihood of data recovery may depend on physical inspection and testing. Unless TecFix confirms otherwise in writing, an online discussion does not constitute a final estimate or guarantee of service results.

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact, device, ownership, and problem information.
  • Ensure you are authorized to request work on the device or data.
  • Back up important information before service whenever reasonably possible.
  • Do not use our services to transmit unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing material.
  • Keep passwords, access codes, and account information secure and provide access only when reasonably required for authorized service.

Repairs and data recovery

Electronics can have hidden, intermittent, or pre-existing damage. Repair and data-recovery work may involve diagnostic procedures, disassembly, testing, software tools, or replacement parts. Data recovery is inherently uncertain, and no particular amount or type of data can be guaranteed unless TecFix expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

Any service-specific authorization, warranty, payment, pickup, storage, or abandoned-device terms will be presented through the applicable estimate, work order, invoice, or service documentation.

Third-party services and links

Our website and communications may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, maps, social networks, and communication platforms. TecFix does not control those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may use our online services only for lawful purposes. Website text, branding, graphics, and other materials owned by TecFix may not be copied, republished, or commercially exploited without permission, except as allowed by law.

Availability and liability

We work to keep our online services accurate and available, but they may occasionally contain errors or be interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TecFix is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising solely from the use or unavailability of the website or online communication tools. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date.
